CFC Computer Operations & Infrastructure

The CFC Computer Operations & Infrastructure prepares you to create and maintain operational IT environments. You will be trained to plan, install and operate computer hardware and software. You'll learn to design complex network infrastructures, configure web servers and ensure data security.

Admission requirements for the CFC Computer Operations & Infrastructure :

  • Completed compulsory schooling or equivalent diploma
  • Fluency with technology & interest in the IT field

Procedure :

Training lasts four years. The first two years are mainly theoretical, with full-time courses. The following two years are devoted to apprenticeship, with four days on the job and one day on the premises. On completion of the training, a Certificat Fédéral de Capacité (CFC) in the chosen profession is awarded. Once the CFC has been obtained, it is possible to continue with a Bachelor's degree at the Geneva Institute of Technology, or to continue towards a technical professional maturité, enabling access to the Hautes Écoles Spécialisées (HES).

With a CFC in IT, there are many career opportunities open to you:
