About training

The Geneva Institute of Technology (École supérieure des technologies de l'information appliquées aux métiers) courses aim to train future managers with all the skills needed to take full responsibility for managing large-scale or complex IT projects.

As such, they have technical and technological expertise, as well as mastery of concepts in IT architecture, applications, systems, networks and security.

They have developed the ability to analyze and solve complex problems, as well as the interpersonal and managerial skills needed to manage teams.

Finally, they understand an organization's environment and how to manage its service levels to guarantee the highest level of satisfaction.

They occupy positions with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. As a general rule, they are placed under the direction of an IT Director, Director of Information Systems or directly under the organization's management.

They have cross-functional responsibility for the various projects they undertake.

The course is organized around 5 years of post-baccalaureate training.

The groups are named E1 to E5 according to the eponymous training year.

At the end of the 3rd year, studies at the Geneva Institute of Technology lead to a diploma registered with the RNCP at level 6 (Bac+3).
