Accelerate your technological career.

Don't choose between studying and working. At the Geneva Institute of Technology, we offer courses that enable you to combine your studies with a job.

Why alternance is the royal choice?

A win-win model for both student and company.

IT work-study programs are a particularly interesting training model, as they combine academic learning with professional immersion. It enables students to apply the knowledge they have acquired in class to real-life situations, while developing concrete, immediately applicable technical skills. This approach fosters autonomy, adaptability and understanding of operational issues specific to technological environments. Thanks to the experience they acquire on the job, work-study students enhance their employability and, by the end of their training, have a profile that is both qualified and experienced.

For companies, taking on work-study students also represents a strategic advantage. It enables them to train future professionals using their own methods, tools and internal culture. The work-study student makes an active contribution to ongoing projects, while bringing a fresh perspective and up-to-date knowledge from his or her training. This arrangement encourages the transmission of know-how within teams, and supports the planning of medium- and long-term skills requirements.

Work-study programs are therefore a sustainable investment. It facilitates the recruitment of talent already trained in the organization's specific features, reduces the costs and risks associated with hiring, and enhances the company's appeal to young professionals. By combining economic performance with a training mission, work-study programs create a genuine win-win relationship between student and company.
